Home / Services / Whole-Home Filtration

Whole-home filtration, the flagship system.

One system treats every tap in your house, softening the water and filtering out chlorine and chemicals, plus RO at the kitchen sink for drinking.

This is the system most the Lakeshore and West Michigan homes need. It installs off your main water line so every faucet, shower, and appliance in the house gets better water.

What's actually in it

A single tank holds layered media, with the control valve on top and the brine (salt) tank beside it:

  • Carbon filtration stage comes first, ahead of the softening resin. It is the stage a system uses for taste and smell, and it protects the resin behind it.
  • Ion-exchange softening resin handles the hardness exchange, better for hair, skin, appliances, and your water heater.
  • Support bed anchors the media so backwash doesn't carry it off.
  • Tank and pressure vessel house the media, sized to your home's flow rate and peak demand.
The control valve. It directs the flow of water through the system.

What it costs

$2,999 all-in, taxes included, for a standard city-water home. That is the flagship city bundle: softener plus carbon filtration, under-sink reverse osmosis, and professional local install.

How it gets installed

A professional installer connects the system at your main line, which in most homes runs through a utility room or garage. If your home has a tougher setup, we tell you the adjusted price before any work starts, never after.

Maintenance is simple

Keep two to three bags of salt in the brine tank and check it every few months. Salt is about $7 a bag. The softener has no filters to change; it self-cleans during regeneration. The RO filters get swapped about once a year.
